DESCRIPTION

This vessel stands 31” high and 17” wide. My aim was to experiment with creating a large vessel that was technically sturdy and artistically exciting. This piece is composed of 7 separate felted panels that were felted and then joined to form the whole. Both the exterior and interior surface has been embellished with embroidered accents. Black wooden dowels delineate the edge of each panel giving the vessel a drum-like look. A true one of a kind!
